It would be great if we keep him and save ourselves €100m but I just can’t see him being happy being behind Ake and Akanji in the pecking order for another season. We’ll see.

It seems to be accepted that he'll be off this year. Hope not, but with Ake and Akanji chosen ahead of him and Gvardiol coming as well, he probably needs to move to play regularly.

Cancelo is a world class player when he’s in form. He’s a very streaky player who can be in that world class run of form for three months and look incredible… but he will then be just as bad as he was good in a three month run of shit form and have the biggest frown on his face stinking the place out with his mard arse attitude.

He's also a player whose weaknesses are only exposed in games against serious opposition.

Against the bottom half of the table, or in a friendly, the other 10 players will cover up his weaknesses 99 times out of 100.
