Why spend billions when we have Rico, McAtee, etc etc. some world class youngsters coming through. Peps Barca recreated :)
 
Rico Lewis has had a couple of bad passes but once again he's been very impressive. I've said it before but I'm okay with moving Walker on and rotating him in there with one of our CBs.

He gets it in congested areas to be fair to him, never shirks from asking for it. Amazing he's only 18 really, his strength and bravery on the ball is something else.

Interesting to see him add driving runs from midfield to his armoury too. Personally think he's too small for a full-back (loses headers all over the gaff and was starting to be targeted) so if he can stake a claim in midfield then that would be great. And potentially save us millions.

Rico's pre-match comments:

I think for me, just getting back into the rhythm of stuff. From where I left off last season was a great point, but it’s never really enough in football you have to keep on going.

So trying things that I might not have tried last season and just trying to develop my game a bit further.

I’m used to people not playing their positions or playing elsewhere under Pep.

Be interesting to watch him develop nonetheless
