You would've thought after all this time that alarm bells might be ringing about us playing such a high line. During Pellegrini's first season, it paid off due to the fact that Negredo and Aguero were tearing everything apart up front. But at the time we were still a wreck defensively.


The system is flawed, especially when your only strikers are Bony, Iheanacho and an out of form Aguero.
