Match Thread | Bournemouth vs. Man City (02/11/24)

Stats tell half a story, anyone who has played can understand that..slower 0.025 seconds getting on the half turn - in the prem tht's huge -- and it looks like to most it's that very slightly slower play - makes a big difference. Also can we all think back to Gundo's first period with us - ok injury was bad but it took him a long while to establish himself. Love his attitude but I imagine on real performances - been good with us at about 39 - 45% of the time if were honest. Doesn't help not having Rodri covering

If you think Gundogan has only been “good” for 39-45% of his City career you want sectioning and never letting near a football stadium ever again.

Completely wrong pal - tell me when he started playing well - there was a big gap from Joining - then I think he bacame one of the best positionally players in the league - never buy back - so sorry Johnny but i think you need locking out for a bit and re watch last 10 season's in detail. He was remarkable at finding spaces, also keeping the tempo of the game - knowing how to cajole his team mates in midfield to play in a short square or long rectangle (that dictates space for others you know) BUT for me i'd say that's been around 45% - 55 % of his entire City career - 45% being great is a good stat you know (for any player out there knows this)
