When people say “This is all on Pep” I never, ever buy into it. The players are responsible as well as the manager. Always. They're out there on the pitch. But today I'll say it: the persistent choosing of Nunes as a defender is something close to criminal. I'll go further — I see nothing in Phil's play this season to merit being repeatedly chosen in the starting line-up. Especially not when you've got people like Marmoush on the bench.
If we lose this one, I believe it will have a negative effect on the rest of our league form, and we may be in serious danger of not qualifying for the CL. It would be, by some way, Pep's worst season in football as a manager.
