We had 3 days rest before beating Real Madrid 4-0 in 2023. This rest bollocks is, as the kids say, pure copium.
Didn’t have all the travelling and no time to prepare coupled with playing a team that’s had 10 days to prepare and 20 less games played

Haaland’s effort levels tonight have been embarrassing
Needs proper competition, been shit the 2nd half of the season, a pale shadow of his first 18 months, gets bullied these days. But until we finally upgrade the team, not buy promising players and loan them out for years, proper instant upgrades then nothing will change under Maresca. Need proper full backs, 3 top class midfielders, a top class scoring winger and proper competition for Haaland or even to go with 2 up at times. Too much of this current squad are nowhere near the level to challenge the likes of the CL

Its not just Rodri though. We seem off it. Can't string a pass without fear.
The team was wrong initially, we get back into it then he takes everyone off. They look scared because if they lose it, it’s automatically another goal conceded

There are reasons for tonight's performance but in truth we've had too many of them this season which is why Arsenal are winning the title. Spurs, Everton and Sunderland away, Brighton, Chelsea and Forest at home. Four of those we definitely should have got over the line but didnt. That would have been eight extra points.
Most people seem to think we lost it at Everton but we didn’t. The games you mention, especially all the draws in January, are where we lost it. We could have been home and dry by now.
