It's tough for young players like Palmer and Gomez to come into much changed sides and light games up.

They perhaps need a run of a few games to show their true level.
Isn't ikely to come about though.

Phillips is playing okay but he seems too passive to make it here in the long-term. Hope he proves me wrong.

Hope its a case of settling in, Grealish was a bit like that at times last season.

I can’t make my mind up about Palmer. At times he looks great but then he just disappears.

I could have this wrong, but going off his game and persona on camera he comes across as having a good skill set but lacking in speed of thought. It is easier to improve the former rather than the latter, so as much as I want him to make the grade I have some doubts.
