I know it doesn't technically matter, but I'd still rather go into two important finals with our winning run intact. I remember the games against Chelsea in the run up to the CL final and everyone was saying it didn't matter because we never played our best team, but psychologically, I can't help but think it ended up mattering in the final. That and the stupid lineup, obviously.

This is the perfect game to show why our midfield needs reinforcement.The trio out there tonight are getting annihilated by power,mobility,and pace.
A Rice or Belligham offers us that missing energy.

On a plus,Foden has been great.

I'd be very tempted to bring on Charles .

With the exception of Kev, Phil and Rodders the rest look a bit like they’ve come off the back of a two day hangover. Just a lack of intensity that we’re used to seeing.

Got to hand it to Brighton though, full of exciting players who play the right way. They’ve given as good as they’ve got and I’m sure they’ll get some good results in Europe next year.
