They’re all a disgrace. They don’t deserve to wear the badge. Haven’t seen a half of football that poor since the last half of football we played. Half of them need to be sold in the summer, the other half need to be shot. Kev is past it, Julian is useless, Walker is a speed merchant, Phil’s neck tattoo adds up to more than his contributions, Bernie looks like he’s already on the beach in Barca, Rodri has gone from god to fraud, Manu has been on too many Toblerone, watching Nathan gives me a head-Ake, Josko makes Danny Mills look like Roberto fucking Carlos, and Eddie has to be the worst keeper since Kyle Walker.

And don’t get me started on Kovacic.

I think it’s more a Brighton thing than a no Haaland thing. Pep always goes for a tonne of rotations against Brighton, as they’ve typically gone man to man against us in the past and the movement takes them places they don’t want to go and breaks their system.

But it’s not just tonight. It’s been happening increasingly in recent weeks, with players rotating through multiple positions. Bodes well for next season.

Can't ignore the fact the ref had an absolute howler, theyd be riots if that went against us and they gifted us one as they seem to do for every single team but it doesn't take anything away from how brilliant we've been.

Kovacic is the key, he's been nothing short of sensational. For anybody that questions what he brings, (and theres a few) watch him closely second half and you'll see. He's outshone foden this half in my eyes.

The difference in the balance he brings to the side is ridiculous. no surprise we stop going top heavy and we look like last seasons imperious city again. Being greedy, I'd love no injuries, clean sheet, a foden hattrick, and alvarez to bag one second half then ring the changes and start saving legs for forest.

We’ve had more than our fair share of shite decisions .. About time we got one on the board…!

I think you've put 2 and 3 together and got 12 there mate. That performance isn't related to Haaland, alvarez isn't doing something massively different to Haaland, he's playing the 9 role himself.

The difference stems from a solid midfield and brighton being a man-to-man team that allows and almost insists on this kind of football.

Watched the first half thanks to my iptv at Billund airport in the bar in Denmark....only one plane left to leave tonight & it's going to be me plus 3/4 of a plane full of rags. Safe to say especially with my ringtone of we never win at home blasting out and a few GTFI's I'm not the favourite person in the bar area
