The same repetitive dross, are we trying to bore Burnley into submission. No-one is shit but then again no-one has shined either, not sure what they actually work on during the week cos there doesn't seem to be any real direction to our play we're just meandering through games.

These games follow a similar pattern.We have a lot of possession without a lot of urgency then concede a soft goal then actually wake up and go hell for leather.

Absolutely no movement the players have given up on the system , the defence are exposed to teams running at them through a non existent defensive midfield, nobody can tackle in the team apart from the back four.

The football is becoming more and more turgid as the season progresses.

It's alarming how easy is for Burnley to run through our midfield. They can turn defense in to attack in one or two passes.

Meanwhile when we have the chance to act decisively and directly we deliberately slow down the play. Passing from attack back to defense. Just shocking.

The players actually look like they have lost faith in it all. The set pieces are still as wank as ever. That corner which resulted in a throw in was gash.

Individuals like Clichy and Dzeko should have been moved out 2 windows ago.

utterly forgettable, which is problematic in itself.

We're really looking over our shoulders now, we're not safe in the top 4 and we're playing some turgid, slow, uncreative stuff at the moment. The players aren't putting in the oomph like they do at their best, it's just lacking. Apart from Fernandinho, who's been very good, and Vinnie looking a bit more assured, it's been like watching 10th v 12th in a dead rubber, it's like we have nothing to play for. Txiki has a huge job on his hands and by the sounds of LoveCity's shopping list, we're going backwards rather than forwards in that regard as well.

5 years ago we were 5-0 up at this point, that's the type of City I expect to see, I expect to see the verve, energy, motivation, urgency, creativity and flair, none of it is there, and they've had 10 days off.

I expect them to buck it up hugely in the 2nd half. Losing patience with this current side, and management.

Goals will come. Burnley, regardless of formation, is defending with all 10...

This game will not be remotely close at 90 minute mark...I call 2 goal difference for us at the end.
