Non of the players are playing shit but it's not working overall. one reason is that Dzeko is dropping deep but is too static for the role. The only times we've looked dangerous in that area is when Silva is receiving the ball from Yaya/Dinho.

Also, Silva is the bigger goal threat this season. Makes no sense why he's not playing there. He's the best 10 in world football ffs

We simply don't have the energy or players to play this 4-4-2 system effectively and don't think the players like playing out wide. Silva clearly plays better in the middle.

Suddenly occured to me that part of the holistic approach must be to allow the opposition to get 11 men behind the ball before we go forward.

Other observations:

Not playing like a team but individuals, aguero especially who seems to think he is the only city player on the pitch.
Poor Navas, whenever he looks up hardly a blue in the box, ever.
Aguero/dzecko hardly keegan/toshack, lucky if they go within 30 yards of each other. Not worth dzecko trying to win a header as never any blue near him.
