Bernardo is hugging the touchline even in deep positions, meaning he look a man light in central midfield. Burnley have also done a good job denying Gündy space and preventing space in behind. They’re happy with our back four in possession with no real option to go long in behind or build play through the middle. So we end up going wide and tossing crosses in which they deal with all day.

I would not have thought we played this badly looking at the lineup. Hate to say it but Guariola needs to make a change, Sane, Sterling and even B.Silva are all below par today.
