I hope Pep says good effort lads, they played well and you can't win them all.

My problem was the lack of shots, I understand Chelsea played well and loses happen but we did not look like scoring for large portions of the game

Sane wasn’t playing particularly well with a lot of poor touches and he clearly could have put in more effort on their goal. Any of the three could have been hooked and not had much complaint. I’d have kept him on but any option was more or less reasonable

Mahrez should have come off. Sterling should have been on the right attacking their slowest defender Alonso in the second half. Bringing Sane off meant Sterling had to play on the left against their best defender in the second half. He did quite well and beat him a few times but would have much more joy against Alonso.
