Yep we haven’t lobbed one decent corner at this stage.

I genuinely don't know what match you were watching if you thought none of those corners were good.

None of them got us a goal, it's not the same thing.

Lukaku, Mendy and Jorginho have all made last minute interventions to stop Dias and Laporte from connecting with a good corner on multiple occasions.

A very well drilled side are going to defend almost all good corners, and probably quite a few perfect ones as well...that's why only 0.5-1% of corners result in goals.

Phenomenal workrate and defensive display so far. Bernardo and jesus in particular have ran a marathon this half, and both been amazing. Grealish needs to work a lot harder, he's the only one not on the same level, that area is Chelsea's out ball all the time, big advantage James going off as that could have been exposed even more. On the ball we need to move the ball more quickly, it's static with the defenders too long at the minute, shift it side to side first time if there's no ball on and work the space, it won't just magically appear against this Chelsea bus. As good and dominant as we've been the longer this goes on the more I fear Chelsea will do us on the counter, it's very hard to expect us not to give them at least one chance in the game. Move the ball quickly, get kdb and foden involved more and take those 3 points home.

We have control, are defending well, and are keeping the ball in good spells....but our forwards always seem to lack understanding or chemistry. Nobody is ever on the same page in crucial moments.

We are simply too rigid and everything we attempt is stale and predictable. Maybe a result of strict training for so long it suffocates any flair or genuine creativity. Instead opting for running up blind alleys ad nauseam. We are playing decent around the back and the main thing is we have control here....but the bigger picture is our complete lack of creating clean chances.

We need some world class flair in this squad so badly.
