We've been the better team, but an unlucky deflection off Vinny and a stupid tackle by Dinho... story of the season really. Sané needs to work harder tracking back.

The lack of specialist full backs has cost us for two seasons.

It is what it is, we have £250m worth of forwards and £30m worth of fullbacks at the club.

It's no surprise is it, we get back in the game and a penalty against a DM playing FB, Clichy v Arsenal , gone past the stage of getting mithered about it now , great going forward , painful to watch when a teams anywhere near our area.

Roll on next season.

Pretty standard game for us against a rival of late, play the better football, have more chances, concede on the counter & don't get the win.

We're creating enough to get back into it, still have Sterling & Yaya on the bench who could help out if need be - may as well go for it second half.

Is it just me or is Fernandinho really fading away in terms of performances recently?

I personally feel he's been poor most of the season ; albeit playing all over the place.

He's been good the majority of his time here but I can't agree with those on here that have labelled him World Class. I don't think at any point he was ever good enough to be put in that category.

I like the lad and he gives it his all, I just think he's fairly limited and appears to be regressing in ability.

Now, it seems, he is just a better option than Fernado, Yaya and Delph - all shocking options after the first choice midfield.

Chelsea are boring keep shape hit on counter it's effective but fucking boring!
