Just saw Roma's goal from behind the net, Hart would have saved that. All day every day.

I really don't rate Caballero at all. I didn't last season, right from the Community Shield, and I still don't.

Encouraging exciting first half. Great start for Sterling and the team. Silva looked unplayable. Manu Garcia did not look out of place and Ihenachio is brave and confident. Pjanic goal was top notch as well but I believe we should be out of sight if the tournamnet organisers did not pick the referee from a trash can on the way to the stadium.

Defensive issues still there but the team has shown high work rate and determination. Sterling's work rate is fantastic ;this is a part of this game that is very underrated and it is exciting to see him, kelechi, Silva and Co linking up.

Roma are a top team, make no mistake but still hopeful that we can get the win even though a lot of changes will ensue but nonetheless there is a lot to be excited about going into the new season.

Manu Garcia looks some player, Kelechi been good, Sterling always a threat and good finish, giving a lot of space to Merlin who is a god. Is Lopes on the bench?

i disagree we look lightweight and still far to open we are lacking strengh uptop and the defence arent pickin upof corners goto do better second half.

Absolutely agree. Way too wide open for my liking friendly or not. Zucculini not working hard enough and Kompany & Mangala still play like strangers together. Clichy is getting no protection in front of him and they seem to have a free run down the left. These are all issues from last season which we need to address but I haven't seen anything on todays game to suggest we are.

I think Willy is shit too, but no one was saving that shot.

The most impressive thing about Garcia's performance is that he's directly facing against De Rossi.

It's not a friendly against a random Australian team, it's against Roma's strongest team. This is a really good indicator of how these players could perform in the Premier League.

What would you have said had Sterling scored that ??? Blame the bastard defence and midfield for not closing down.
Fernando's job as a fairly limited player is to break down attacks in midfield, and he's failing spectacularly to do it.
