And he didn’t even have a particularly good game.
Yep, first half was arguably his worst since his first season with us, second half he was much better.

Goes off, and we not only lose his control in midfield and forward incision (which helps to pin back the opposition), but also the intensity to see out the match dominating possession.

Very few on now willing to have a go at others playing sloppy and to instruct them where to go and what to do in tense situations.

He is a midfield general.
 
Rodri going off has obviously played a part but the rest of the team has to keep the same intensity.
We give them hope with some sloppy play and half arsed attitude.
Goal difference matters.
