He's a young kid who is only playing because our other more experienced defenders are made of glass.

But he's not learning - he knows (or should ) that they're targeting him. So he get one touch or two at the moment - so he either needs to launch it clear or move it on asap to a team mate. He's taking 3+ touches when he doesn't have that luxury.
