I can't help but think how soulless our football has become. Very robotic and almost like a Frankenstein version of the football that we played back in 17-18, 18-19 days. Granted we have different players but I feel like pep has gone to an extreme in his relentless pursuit of control in games

To be honest, we actually haven't been bad; it's been a really difficult game.

Palace haven't been engaging until we get anywhere near the final third. Pretty much 11 behind the ball with absolutely ZERO space in behind to make anything happen. It was always going to be a set piece that broke the deadlock.
