Don't think I've seen a game in a long time where there have been so many mid-air contacts. Players, on both sides, are not jumping to win the ball but simply to hit opponents. Surprised Danilo and de Bruyne have not been on earlier, and this is definitely not one for the youngsters.

Tough one. Hard to single out Dave too as it looks like our collective head has gone. We're feckin' miles away from the football we were served up last season and the early part of this one.

Bernardo and Kev on Sunday. Silva to come on if things aren’t looking great. Hasn’t been on it recently Merlin. Still a great player
