I notice their players don't give Phillips any space to receive the ball. Not sure if that's his poor movement, or whether they deliberately press him because they think he's not as press resistant as Rodri.

I think it’s more his lack of movement. He needs to find those pockets of space.

Good? Seeing out the win without running around like lunatics is a good thing when we've been playing, and continue to play, two games every week.

Don't get me wrong I'd be even happier if we were out of sight even sooner. We started resting in our own half and let them have the ball after the 3rd.

Tbf Everton have realised this too and aren't trying too hard for a token consolation. Better to accept the current scoreline and rest your legs for the next match
