We’re getting to that moment when we start talking about balance or the midfield needing energy/legs. It’s almost like a sieve.

Anyone think we are shoehorning GUndo into the team and moving B.Silva further forwarded has seen a drop off in our play in the last 2 games????

With gundo next to rodri we look worse defensively and offensively

From whoscored, here are the last 5 matches De Bruyne & Gundo started together in the middle:
1-2 vs RB Leipzig
6-3 vs Leicester
4-1 vs Swindon Town
4-1 vs Fulham
2-3 vs Spurs

It's easy to see that we are quite vunerable at the back playing these 2. I think this kinda confirms our feeling from previous seasons, they are advanced midfielders that need an all-action fast DM to cover. Everton might probably not have enough to overcome us but I wouldn't put it pass them to score 1 or 2.
I don't think Pep doesn't know the risk, it's simply a risk he is willing to take to keep our attacking prowess.
I would love to see some stats on our win percentage, especially against bigger sides, though.
