If you have all the possession then you need a solid defence that can react after not being required too at all. You can't stay asleep because you haven't needed to be awake. Also, you can be both attack and defender but you can't be just attack defence as though there is men behind you when there isn't.
When a defending team attack they attack with intensity. Your defence needs to be prepared for that 100 percent of the time - and not assume because they haven't been attacking that the there is no threat and then to be unprepared when it comes.
If you have all the possession the opposition is forced into full defence. Not much you can do about that but what you can do is whip crosses in, and pick up lose balls. Or, be 9 or 10/10 at threading balls through in your possession style. This isn't working for us, so fuck it, just go for it. Full throttle, throw everything at them, attack at pace, constant attack, fuck possession, and leave a few lads back in mid, mid def and def to pick the attacking balls ups.
