Rodri has the ball and we have two players on the wing that want the ball feet, Foden, Nunes and Alvarez all coming short, does nobody think about running in behind and creating space?
They do make the runs, they never get the ball, its probably by design to give more space in the middle of the park, but eventually you'll stop making the runs?

Nobody can honestly argue we’re not boring to watch. It’s painful.
We're a difficult watch now. Have been for a while, actually. Even I (a happy clapper, according to some on here) find it hard to glean enjoyment from watching our games. No surprise, then, that fans of other teams, and some journalists, would label us as boring. Very hard to argue against it.

That’s a dreadful half of football I’m afraid, if you can call it that.

We look like a mid-table team that obsessed with keeping hold of the ball and shit scared of playing a forward pass. Sideways, sideways, pass it back, fuck about with the ball for twenty minutes and then let a soft goal in.

Teams know all they have to do now is keep their shape at the back and we’ll end up gifting them a goal. We’re easy to play against these days.

Bernado was dross - he looks like he can barely stand up out there tonight - Alvarez and Foden look very lightweight. Not sure we’ll turn it around as we need seven or eight gilt-edged chances before we score.
