I think we all need to accept that this group of players have peaked.

Ruthless recruitment needed to go again in the summer. Complacency had crept in and instead of kicking on the whole club has fallen into a slumber.

You need that edge to stay at the top and too many seemingly have lost it.

To be fair, we’ve tried in the Summer but today we’re without Doku, Haaland and De Bruyne. The latter two would kill most teams.
