This side is almost unrecognisable. I’m not sure where you’d even start with this. Like others I don’t think our recruitment has been very good over the summer but players who you should expect to step up, haven’t. Foden, Alvarez, Grealish….to name but three

Don’t mind getting beat but really not when we are the architect of our own downfall.
Two quick fire fuck ups to hand them the ball. We didn’t even learn after that.
We need a big half time talk and get back out here and lift it. Two or three good chances frittered away again.
I’d take a draw right now, 3 points on Saturday before we get some big players back.
Didn’t look like much with John Boy, really can’t afford him out for too long.
Come on to fuck City, let’s get going.

Started well, created a few chances but as usual our shooting is just dreadful, we need far too many chances before we score.
As is the norm for us these days we concede with their first chance. We went a step further this time though and not one, not two but three of our own players assisted.

Let's not scapegoat Nunes and pretend everyone else is great. He is our new signing and not the reason we are losing today. Signing someone for a critical DM position where we are running Rodri to the ground would be a start, tho.

I like that we can "control it" when we want to. Definitely not all over the place except for that 1 gift to Everton.
