I've said it before, but we've got a center-back, albeit a brilliant one in Stones, making runs like an attacking midfielder. It was a bright adjustment from Pep last season, but it has run its course IMO.

Not sure why he’s more advanced than Bernardo.

I’d argue Ake has been one of our best two defenders over the past couple of seasons.

He’s been one of the best defenders in the league the last couple of years. He’s neat and tidy and makes everything look easy.
