That Ake injury is fucking annoying. The new tactic of Gvardiol as the left winger works because we have Ake, a left footed centre back, able to play wide in the back three and give the balance. That’s the reason Stones has been on the bench. Ake is playing to free up Gvardiol. Without him, we need to decide if Akanji can do it as well or else we’ll have to change the tactic that has been working for us.
