Compared to defensive liabilities like Mangala, he's been ok.

Won possession a few times early on and is the only player to not misplace a pass so far.

It's clear that this game is to get a better look at some players and to give some players a bit of game time. We aren't doing too much in the middle of the park. WE need Foden to morph into David Silva mixed with Colin Bell!

My point exactly, in that formation, he should be considered as one of the two forwards like Sterling not as a wing back option, our lack of bodies there though seems to be tempting Pep to see him as that covering option, an option i think we'll be badly exposed by even half decent teams. He simply doesn't have the positioning and know how to play that role. He's walking around when the balls in a dangerous position more often than not, Imagine the shit Kolarov would have got for that...
