Playing okay here, we just need to be a bit more clinical. We've got into decent positions several times, but our final ball has let us down. I'm confident we'll win this though.
 
Unless we are the best team in the world comfortably ala Barca 2008-2012, its impoosible for us to win the CL
 
Fernandinho, Laporte & Otamendi have been scary to watch for me.

Should've had at least 3 goals there, expect us to get at least another in the second half - we just need to watch out for a red card/penalty, this ref seems incredibly inept.
 
Absolute cheat, as fucking usual. This competition has always been a farce but now they don't even try to hide it. The booing continues because they continue to earn it.
 
The referee did a fine job of stopping our rhythm and breaking up any sustained attacks, but despite that we shouldn't be going in level.
 
We've been poor at the back and in midfield and just decent going forward.

The referee has been a shambles though, Hoffenheim seem to be getting the rub of the green on everything. Not surprised that we've lost every game he's been in charge of. He literally called a thrown in back because it put us through on goal!
 
Good performance from City after a poor start. I watched the Hoffenheim Shakhtar game and Hoffenheim faded badly - out on their feet at 70 mins - let’s hope for the same.
 
Not sure what to think of this game.

We should be ahead but some very poor play and passing at times. We just don’t look balanced

Ref is a joke which does not help

Bent refs should galvanise us all to want to smash this competition, just to spite UEFA. That's what will really hurt them, not the booing which doesn't even bother them anymore lets face it.
 
Cheating ref yet again.

However, if we play like this on Sunday we will be stuffed.
