Match Thread | Kansas vs Man City (24/07/14 @ 2am)

Zuculini has been really impressive. Great finish and good passing. Might be worth to keep as U21 for next season as CM cover?

Good 1st Half, Zuccilini and Ichinacho looking good. Defence looking shaky but nothing new with city. Also is it just me or does the Ref give every foul that Sporting Kansas City appeal for he is shite

TBF, he's not been that bad. A few mistakes but a really good tackle/interception and a goal.
I think overall we've been good. Yeah, there are mistakes here and there, but it's to be expected at this point of training.

this seems like a good time to point out that Liverpool did another Hillsborough tribute today in their friendly. Shocking, I know.

Boyata is actually one of our best performers so far and I'm not saying this because he scored from a set-piece. He had at least 3 last man tackles and some other good ones too. And sure it was Micah who had a walkabout and played onside their forward.

Fair to say Jovetic is shit so far, but Scott Sinclair must be the most pointless player and signing ever.

Zuculini had some brilliant passes that led directly to clear cut chances (the lob to Jovetic and that beautiful pass for Iheanacho), I knew that he likes to get forward but didn't expect that he's that technically gifted and creative.

What would be shocking is if they didn't

I know the goal wasn't his fault, but Boyatta is proper shit.

As I've typed this it appears he was playing the lad onside.
Yep. Everyone else was playing the trap.
Are we going to have to get the "that's racist" gif out for those confused by Boyata and Richards?
Ha! :)

My excuse is I'm watching this on my iPad mini's WatchESPN app. Tiny, tiny screen.

Zuculini seems to have that undefinable "it" going for him. I can see why a lot of clubs were after him.

I think that Nacho is technically unsigned due to being under 18 (and Nigeria having some bizarre laws about U18 signings.) But last I'd heard he was certainly wrapped up for us.
