It's one city. It's right on the border of Kansas and Missouri, but Kansas people definitely cheer for all Kansas City teams. Missouri cheers for St. Louis teams.

Have to say, that is just wrong. As a native Kansas Citian from the Missouri side, I support all KC teams no matter if they fall on the Kansas side or Missouri. No way would any native KC Missourian support a St. Louis team. Due to the distances between professional teams, you'll see support for KC teams extending in to neighboring states like Nebraska, Arkansas and beyond.
Take a gander at the Sporting KC badge. It has the KC, Kansas and KC, Missouri state line on it.
