He doesn't need to change it permanently, just enough to stop the rot and get a bit of confidence back. If you've got a limited squad for six weeks then play limited tactics for six weeks and get back to normal when your trusted players are back.

I hate video game logic like this, you can't just switch up a completely different tactic than you do previously just because.

Real football doesn't work like that, that kind of thing needs time more than just one month to be able to work.
