Agreed, I think that might be a substitution at some point today.I dont know why people here are having a go at Mahrez, sterling when they have been doing what they can? Do we expect them to dribble past two or three all the time they receive the ball?? They are fine..
My problem is Foden is not good in holding the ball at all to start a counter attack. we need Jesus there...Maupay did that perfectly imo
Precisely, a well struck penalty ought to be in the back of the net but, yes certainly, a good/lucky goalie might make a good save, but to miss the target completely - and by some feet - for me says something about a lack of 'bottle' - it surely can't be a lack of ability, these guys are among the best in the world?Yeah if a keeper saves a pen i’d feel less aggrieved but failing to hit the target is tragic
Short run ups hardly ever work unless your ballo of course. The way our players address the ball on penalties is wrong. A standing penalty is often missed/saved. Step back 6 yards, run up and smash it in.
You think playing no striker against a make shift back four is the decision? I don't wanna row with a fellow fan...but i am fan and all i can do is sit back and make comments...and mine are, were too passive because of the selection.
