Nunes on for me for Alvarez gives us bit mmore off the ball help on the left which will be needed when Salah come on.
also better at keeping the ball.

Alvarez had bad games in deeper role before but this is the worst yet. a defender on his back and he is 100% to lose the ball facing his own goal...

We've played much better than that before and taken a bit of a beating. Have to change it. Our front 4 press is piss poor, not getting remotely close to forcing a turnover so why have we got Bernardo chasing pointless balls ahead of haaland? They're playing simple balls that bypass our entire front line and leave us open. Bernardo has to sit next to rodri, especially now that Rodri's on a stupid yellow and is now a red card walking if we continue to play like this. Stones is going too far upfield and is out of thr game when we lose the ball. Alvarez has worked hard but fuck me his first touch is abysmal, can't be in possession of the ball so deep when he can't control it, needs pushing up the pitch or taking off. Kdb has looked fucked since kick off and isn't in the game.

Ideally I'd get kovacic on, Bernardo and foden out wide then either kdb or alvarez behind haaland and the other comes off or if we dint make a change just drop Bernardo into where kovacic would sit.

Needs to change if we are to take the 3 points here, and we need to push for a second and even a third as they'll score with a helping hand from the officials if needs be. we've not tested their makeshift defence anywhere near enough.

Alvarez having a nightmare , he has set up three Dipper attacks , he cant hold the ball up and he isnt tracking their right fullback , bring Kovacic on in the middle Bernardo on the right and Foden to smash their Under-13 right back.
Rodri set up a few Liverpool attacks, as well. Should we hook him, too?
