Not usually one for the Alvarez pile on but he’s been woeful there. Nearly every Liverpool chance has come as a result of him giving the ball away or letting a runner go. Ake has done well to mitigate the worst of it.

I honestly don’t think any of the midfield have looked great but we are playing a team that presses you into mistakes. Need more control - Alvarez for Kova is the call for me.

Bradley is a cracking player but he’ll be treading water 60 mins onwards, Doku for Alverez, who’s exposing ake, that will press him back and we will get more joy that side

Doku in this game would be even worse than Alvarez.

Doku would give Liverpool more chances than he gives us. Kovacic for Alvarez and increase our control. That’s the sub.
