Pellegrini has his work cut out imo - this had better be a blip or there´s trouble ahead
firstly toohless upfront and now the defence - very worrying
 
Poor finishing in this game, and poor defending have cost us.
Need a new defender.
Good wake up call for the team to sort themselves out , might need to temper that enthusiasm for a rip roaring season a little..
Saying that, I think Arsenal have defended very well when they've needed to.
Pellegrini needs to find his right line up before the start of the season.

We need Gaz if only as an English squad player but he can be an important member of the team. The defence need him
 
I've never been convinced we are a good defensive team. Yes we are the best defence in England but that's not saying much. Having the ebst defence in a league that is very poor defensivly isn't a glowing endoursement. The way we got ripped apart by Dortmund and Madrid last year showed we aren't a great defensive team. We give up few goals because we dominate posession, not unlike Barca. Not because we defend really well. We desperatly need another CH and IMO a left back. Yes Clichy is usually good but gives us nothing going forward and can throw in the clunker.
 
Long memories from the Arsenal fans still booing Nasri. To be fair to the Tarquins, they need long memories with their recent drought of success.
