Think the game's been a bit closer than the scoreline suggests. Ohhhh almost the start of the Boyata hattrick.

im sure this will be a big wake up call for the players, just worried what sort of team we can put out next sunday as the returning 6 will not have had a game

They have to play because this myth we have the strongest squad is exactly that. A

We have a strong core and our success largely depends on Silva, Kompany, Zab and Aguero being available.

The fans know this.we have one or two good subs the rest are average. It's the medias agenda to build us up to to having this fantastic squad so they can write those sensational headlines when we lose.

Last two managers won the Community Shield got fired about 9-10 months later.

Wenger is next then...

hope the players make the effort and applaud the fans for making the long journeys from around the country
Half of them hardly do when we've won.

What I can take from this game is that 4231 may be the way to go as Zuculini has looked really comfortable as expected. I though he was going on loan but we may very well keep him and perhaps should. So a midfield of Yaya, Fenando and Zucs/ fernandinho will be the way foward, with Yaya playing behind Dzeko and Jovetic out wide left and silva right and drifting inside. Width on the right provided by Sagna or Zabaleta and the left backs on the other side.

The Manchester City phenomenon where nearly every shot on target against us seems to go in.

I have every confidence in MP and believe we will be challenging at the sharp end but ffs why set up as we did Cannot afford to be outnumbered in midfield against the likes of the Arse.

Who gives a shit? This means nothing. Let arsenal get all giddy, it's plain as day their players are treating it like a cup final. Ours aren't, maybe that's poor motivation but I don't care really.

You'd care if like my 2 sons you'd paid a fortune to go down for the weekend...

Fortunately I spotted early that City wouldn't be trying much and kept my cash in my wallet. Thank goodness I did - I'd be fecking livid if I'd shelled out to watch this shite.
