The more see that corner.....the more it's a foul.

Ridiculous, VAR didn't intervene.......then again...
Of course it's a foul. Martinelli doesn't look at the ball at all. He backs into eddie. VAR has been rendered useless. High bar. Not fit for purpose.

I'll be in the minority with this for my Trossard opinion.
Oliver has lost this game completely and has reffed it appallingly - sorry but sending Trossard off for that is ridiculous. If he's booking him for that then Doku should have gone in the book earlier.
Atrocious.
Arsenal first goal should never have stood for 2 reasons:
Walker not given time to get back in position (although he's been poor 1st half especially 2nd goal where he seems more intent on touching up Gabriel)
Taken from nowhere near the correct spot
Hey ho
Trossard clattered into the back of our man AND kicked the ball away. 2 cards there...

Just seen them blocking off Ederson. Blatantly back into him to prevent him from getting to the ball. But you know if one of our players had done the same to Gabriel to prevent the run, he'd go down and it'd be a penalty. That's what pisses me off about corners these days. The inconsistency between attackers and defenders.
Part of the game, up to the defenders to put them in their place, we defend too nicely

Let’s not turn on one of our own because he is getting older. It’s pep who has chosen to play Walker.

Stick with the players. Mistakes happen.
He's getting older, suggesting he retires isn't turning on him

Mad game. I reckon we will get a penalty from our next corner. Their first goal is completely inexcusable from Michael Oliver and I hope he gets demoted down the hierarchy as he failed on so many levels. Calls Walker half way up the pitch, turns his back on the ball, blows the whistle for the game to continue, doesn't let Walker get back in position and free kick gets taken noticeably further forward than it should have been. But he doesn't know, he wasn't looking. Second goal was less so, Walker forgot what he was supposed to be doing and we should have been stronger.

Also an epic VAR failure because nobody knows what happened in the first 2-3 seconds because the cameras were not ready. It is a case of 30 people simultaneously failing on the "You had ONE JOB!".
It was clear enough. Havertz intentionally should barged into Rodri. They were looking to hurt him from the off..
