Part of the game, up to the defenders to put them in their place, we defend too nicely
But if we had two people close in on Gabriel with no attempt to get the ball, he'd go down and it'd be a penalty. They do corners like American football and get away with it every time. Someone was saying they were just 'holding their ground.' They weren't. They were deliberately running into Ederson to prevent him from moving towards the ball.

For the second Arsenal goal I was bemused by how City were set up. Haaland and Akanji (I think) were covering the near post when there were not Arse players anywhere near it.
Gabriel had almost just scored and scored against Spurs last week - It was obvious where he was running to - Haaland should have been there to compete with him.

nevermind his awful behaviour off the pitch but ok, people like to sugar coat it here

I’ve said it before, captain means something.

Kompany. Fernandinho. Gundogan.

Leaders on and off the pitch. Set an example. Were outstanding role models and professionals.

Frankly this dickhead makes a mockery of it.

Ref is having a shocker. I didnt think the first yellow for Trossard was a yellow offence. Yet he got one. Then there is that diabolical decision to allow
A goal that came as a result of a free kick being taken no where near from where the offence took place.

You can tell by his face he’s lost this one. Dog shit refereeing.

Come on City, take advantage of this extra man we have.
Extra man probably won't make a big difference, they will just play with one striker as they are 2 1 up.

Playing against a 10-man Arsenal the in the 2nd half...yes, they'll park the bus, yes, the ref won't call their fouls easily, yes it will be tough but: if we lose, it's all on us. End of.
