It’s slow because Arsenal shut everything off in those situations. So Ortega is supposed to wait for one of them to jump. Or to play passes in such a way that then tempts them into jumping. Playing slow in our own half is supposed to draw the opponent onto us, which then creates space where we want it (in their half). But we have to be good enough to play through them when they push up on us, which is difficult as they are the very best in the league at off the ball positioning.Jesus we look a bit nervy.
