If they’d had the proper amount of injury time this collision wouldn’t have occurred.

8 minutes is just the average time the ball is actually out of play from making a standard set of substitutions, a few players going down for physio (Odegaard), stoppages for goal kicks etc. It is not at all exceptional, some games will see 15-20 minutes this year.

Or Liverpool or United concede a last minute goal that sees them drop points.
