I know this will be lost on this thread but one has to remember that they’ve had more preseason games so the fact that City are slightly still undercooked and in this shows the gap.

Patience will be needed for the first few games but I’m sure you all know that :)

The gap is so wide between City and other teams. We aren't even playing our best and still level

good example then of how solid Pep has made us, they were working the ball for a long long time to get space but were getting nowhere. Add in we are way behind in training as Pep seems to prefer.

Gvardiol to come in as well makes this defensive unit really strong
