Same issues. No spark in the midfield....little creativity anywhere
Kdb continues to be an issue. He has gge magic in the boots still but without the ball we are carrying him...mahrez and grealish offering very little in terms of possession or attacking threat.
We gave gone from a team who dominated possession and had creative players to one who are just about hanging on and even if we win this we need to start to realise that this us a team that is probably in transition.

Normally you would have foden. Bernardo both buzzing around....both out of form and that means Grealish and mahrez rightfully start BUT the levels drop off with those 2 and kdb is just not the same player

Should have binned Gundogan and Bernardo last summer. Bernardo is a slapped arse **** and Gundogan has just shot his bolt. It was obvious last season.

We really should of tried playing players back into form & fitness in this game, out of that starting XI I would only of picked Ortega & maybe KDB

Unsure what the plan is.

Gone from a really fluid XI to this slow and turgid side. Midfield is none existent. We used to run rings around opposition midfields.
I'm convinced it's the formation that we're playing (or trying to play) which is causing the problems. Bring Bernardo on for Gundogan, move KDB back into CM, bring Walker on for Lewis (or play Lewis at RB) and push our wide players further forward. In other words, go back our 4-3-3.
