We're light years away from the standard needed to win the CL. And we don't seem to be learning how to play in the CL. Two up top is not the way to go about it, we just end up getting over-run in midfield. Happens to us regularly in this competition.

Man for man we are better than Roma, but they are bossing it because our setup is wrong. Simple as that.

What I cannot understand is how Pellegrini got Villareal to the semis. Not by setting them up with 2 in midfield, surely???

Maybe by managing an underestimated team? No-one is giving us an inch. Yaya really doesn't help in situations like this.
