Really the first yellow is irrelevant, once you're on a yellow and 4 goals up no excuses for getting a second for silly stuff. He will learn but that has cost him another 90 minutes (assume its just 1 match ban).

Yeah he’ll learn lots playing in a pub league rather than playing with KDB, Dave and Pep every day

Whether Foden's first yellow was valid or not, it was his inexperience that caused him to be in this situation. 5-1 up with 15 mins to go, literally no need to foul.

That may be true but you can’t blame the kid for trying, maybe just a little too hard, to play his way into the team. Certainly can’t accuse him of a lack of effort.
