Or if he wasn't 19 years old? He's not looked out of place, which the vast majority of 19 year olds (especially ones of his size) would in the centre of the Premier League champions.

Well i respectfully disagree. He’s obviously talented but for his age only. I just dont think he looks like he’s controlling a match like the others do when they are on the ball. Its all just lay offs and darting around. Again, try and imagine he isn’t a manc and would you really be that excited.

A decent team would have been two up against us before that.

Some overreactions on here. I think the Fern + Rodri combo is better than the Ota-Stones combo. The thing that brought us down was a Ferna mistake, which both he, Otamendi and Kompany are prone to.

Brought on by Mendy losing the ball again whilst under no pressure. Let's hope more games gets him up to speed as he looks terrible when not whipping a ball in.

Weary performance so far rescued by the lads up top.
