All in all, that was pretty dire. Boring too. But Pep often makes the right tweaks at half time positionally. He’ll need to nail it again over the next 15 mins.

It’s obvious what’s happening on that right hand side, Mahrez has been crowded out.

He had our most goal involvements last season but he won’t get close to that tally without an overlapping full back taking at least one of three defenders off him.

Stones at right back is the worst problem on that pitch by a country mile.

We need overlapping fullbacks. Gomez in fir Stones, Cancelo on the right. And we have no speed on the wings. Grealish/Mahrez out, Foden/Alvarez in.
