Not seen any replays in the ground but is the ref really as shit as he seems here?

Bit of an anti-climax.

Could do with the crowd getting behind the players instead of sitting in silence and waiting for the ref to instigate some furious moaning. The place should be bouncing, and it's not.

Lads Kolarov is stopping Barca cutting all those balls back inside, leaving them to resort to crossing to midgets. Not all skill involves being on the ball, he's doing his job very well. I'd give him 15 more and then Nasri to cut them apart.

bit of a cliche but for the purists this game is riveting...and by no means beyond us at all
Yep indeed it has. A great game so far. I think City have had the best of things, but need to watch out for mistakes. Barca have the possession, but City more threatening. The usual suspects are standing out ie Kompany, Yaya and Silva. Demichelis and Fernandinho are doing very well too. Barca look a bit toothless, which is the problem of the false 9, suits Messi but it's easier to defend against. Neymar might come on and do something for Barca. Maybe bring on Jovetic for Kolarov depending on how brave Pellegrini is.

Tactically - we've played a PERFECT game...people who have watched Barca realize this.

You will never have higher posession than Barca - but you close out the final pass (and that's what we did), and then all that posession is useless.

This is how Chelski beat them. This (with a bit more flare) is how Bayern destroyed them.

We just need to be more dangerous when going forward once in a while....methinks Nasri or Jovetic for Kolarov is a must (Nasri, he can play left winger)...to add some creativity up front.

We can definitely win this to nil, already had the better chances, the only chances infact. Kolarov needs to cut shitty challenges like that out, refs never need encouragement to help Barca so was amazed he stayed on.

Shocked at just how bad the atmosphere is, no noise at all.

I don't think so. He has been decent. In fact Kolarov could have easily got a red.

Negredo and Kolerov take booking for first fouls, fabregas and mascherano multiple fouls and nothing

Kolarov's for a 2 footed challenge. Booking all day.

Didn't say it wasn't a booking but Alves goes in the book for three/fours so should the others

Agree mate, lack of consistency

Kolarov's lack of composure is a problem that could ultimately lead to a dangerous counter attack. Key here is taking care of the ball, Barcelona are not great without the ball. Also notice that City are quicker to the ball when they loose it in a Barcelona final 3rd, the tempo rises and they don't like it.

Get back under your mushroom.

They haven't made joe make a save yet which is very good!

We've probably had the best of the few chances that have been in the game.

We looked dangerous from that free kick so hopefully the referee will give us the soft free kicks barce are getting and we will be able to make valdes work.

Um...Joe made a pretty nice save on Xavi...perhaps you were getting a fresh beer.

Agree completely
Pellegrini showing his experience in Europe tonight. That's why he's here.
Nasri on for last 30 mins if we haven't scored
Can definitely do this
