It's actually strange that we don't have that option already. The audio and video are already in different channels. I understand that changing the telly dinosaur system that has settled over 70+ years can be challenging, but for absolutely every single application on a laptop/phone/Smart-TV, that should be extremely easy to implement. The remote control even has a whole bunch of customisable auxiliary buttons that could be used for exactly that.

It's not the tech that's stopping that, it just has to be decided to be delivered as a service. Should be done a long time ago.

People should be able to choose between a whole myriad of cameras, and compose a combination of audio sources completely of their own liking. Microphones in front of home supporters, away supporters, the bench, commentators, studio, ... You name it, you'd get it.
